Jayhawks fall against Kellogg
The Jayhawks could not keep up with Kellogg falling to the Bruins 0-3.

The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks Womens Soccer team welcomed Kellogg Community College Bruins to Orchard Valley High School for a rematch from earlier in the season.
Unfortunately, much like the first match up the Bruins came into the game aggressively pushing the ball down the field. In the twenty-first minute the Jayhawks were backed up into their own box, a shot from the Bruins forced Jayhawks keeper Jessica Stewart to make a save leading to a rebound that momentarily pinballed before falling to Bruins Allison Dietzel who was able to find the back of the net making it 0-1 Bruins. In the thirty-ninth minute Bruins Aubrie Evans was also able to find the back of the net slipping past defender giving Kellogg a 0-2 lead going into halftime.
In the second half of play the Jayhawks had Izzie Ownes-Glassford replaced Jessica Stewart in net. The Jayhawks keepers combined for eleven saves off of nineteen shots. The Bruins continued attacking in the second half earning one last goal in the sixtieth minute coming from Sophia Saunders making it a 0-3 win for Kellogg.
The Jayhawks have one game left on the season against Lakeland Community College on Saturday 10/26 at 1pm at Oakridge High School.
