Jayhawks Women’s Basketball Players Earn MCCAA & Region XII Honors
MUSKEGON, MI – Several members of the Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team were recognized for their outstanding performances during the 2025–26 season, earning multiple MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII postseason honors.
Sophomore Anna Lundquist led the way for the Jayhawks with an impressive list of accolades. Lundquist was named to the NJCAA Region XII Division II All-Region Team and the All-MCCAA Team, while also earning First Team All–Northern Conference honors. Known for her consistency and leadership on the court, Lundquist also earned recognition on the All-Defensive Team, highlighting her impact on both ends of the floor throughout the season.
Freshman Shamari Hamilton also had a standout year for Muskegon. Hamilton was named to the All-Freshman Team and earned Second Team All–Northern Conference honors after an impressive debut season that showcased her scoring ability and all-around play.
In addition, two Jayhawks received Northern Conference Honorable Mention recognition for their contributions this season. Paige Seely-London and Sierra Stoy were both acknowledged for their efforts and important roles in the team's success throughout the year.
The multiple postseason honors reflect the strength and development of the Muskegon Community College women's basketball program. With both experienced leadership and emerging talent being recognized across the conference and region, the Jayhawks continue to build momentum heading into the future.
