Jayhawks Sweep Series with Alpena
Jayhawks who were led by Anna Lundquist 20 points get the win and the series sweep.
The Muskegon Lady Jayhawks traveled over to Alpena Community College to play the Lumberjacks in another rematch for the conference season.
The Lady Jayhawks came out with an incredible performance within the first couple minutes of the game. They had strong intensity and lots of pressure on the defense, fast breaks and solid finishes for their offense. For the first half of the game, the Jays kept the Lumberjacks to only 13 points. Post halftime the Jayhawks did not turn down the pressure. The team found a solid flow to bring home another win this conference season over Alpena of 81-40.
Top scorers of the game were Anna Lundquist (#30) with 20 points. Arrionna Williams (#20) with 15 points. Kennedy Adams (#11) with 11 points. Remi Sponseller (#12) and Tyvi Davis (#23) both with 10 points. And Gaby Reeve (#32) with 7 points.
The Lady Jayhawks play Wednesday, February 12th at Montcalm Community College at 5:30pm.
