The second half was all Skippers. The Skippers managed to pour in 52 points and outscored the Jayhawks by 20 points in the second half, giving them the 26-point victory. Sophomore Lamarkis Graham was a bright spot offensively for Muskegon, finishing with 15 points and five assists. Freshman guard David Cross added 14 points to the Jayhawk total, and sophomore Mason Hallett finished with 10 points. The loss moves the Jayhawks record to 1-1.
The Jayhawks hope to get back in the winning column next Wednesday, November 12th against the Kalamazoo Valley Community College Cougars at Kalamazoo. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
